Built on the success of Tenterden Garden Centre, Canterbury Garden Centre opened in 2009. The Centre’s spacious and modern layout is complemented by an excellent team of local staff with strong horticultural backgrounds and upholds the exceptional levels of service, knowledge and presentation that we have become renowned for. Stocking a wide range of quality plants, garden sundries, garden tools, wild bird care products and giftware, Canterbury Garden Centre is everything you would expect from a reputable retailer. We pride ourselves upon the quality and value of our plants, hand watering each individually with rainwater, collected in large underground tanks.

Our comprehensive range of garden and cane furniture is one of the biggest in the South East and allows the opportunity to try before you buy – which to us, is the most integral part of the purchasing process. There’s even a coffee shop & restaurant to relax in afterwards not to mention children’s play centres, giant Gorilla and Living World Pet & Aquatic Centre.

Reasons to visit us

As family owned and operated garden centres, community and knowledge are at the very heart of what we do. Our Director Edward Boult purchased the site, home to our first Centre, Tenterden Garden Centre, in 1999 and has been driving the business forward ever since.
